SA meets Norway in the fashion world: Discussion panel at Oslo trend, Norway’s fashion week.

A week in the name of fashion took place in the Norwegian capital from 11 – 17 August 2014.

On Tuesday 12 August, people in the industry and general fashionistas got to view a stunning collaborative design project by Norwegian design-duo; Norwegian rain and South African MaXhosa by Laduma.

The innovative Xhosa-inspired knitwear brand teamed up with the Norwegian design collective specializing in high-end rain gear, to create colorful, stylish and practical pieces, perfectly fitted for the sometimes harsh Norwegian weather conditions, and the collection was very well received by the attendees.

The exhibition showcased a co-op between Norwegian Rain, Maxhosa and T-Michael made possible by Oslo Trend, Cape Town Fashion Council, Innovation Norway, The South African Embassy and sheer will power.
